Decent Stay, Some Issues
convenient location designed room dated room television dust
The location is very convenient , just off the A1. It is about 5 minutes from the Scottish Border. The hotel has lovely , well designed rooms.
My room was a bit dated , it left a bit to be desired. There was dust behind the television.

Really good Experience!
ample parking helpful staff
The hotel looked very clean! There was also ample parking available! The staff seemed really good and helpful. Check-in was completely flawless. Rooms included every facility needed and were perfectly clean!
I found the menu choice quite limited. I also felt the menu barely varied. Staffing seemed limited during the day and in the evenings.

Breakfast and the dining room looked beautifully set-out! The menu felt generous and the food tasted delicious. Various combinations are available for a cooked breakfast. There are also cereals, fresh fruit, and pastries.

The hotel is in a beautiful park. It is a very lovely manor, decorated nicely and tastefully. Large windows provide sweeping views! You get a sweeping view of the lush grounds and the sea, really special.

peeling wallpaper rusty radiator
the staff were helpful (i appreciated their assistance).
i booked a double room, however, the condition was not good. the wallpaper was peeling from the walls, and the bathroom radiator had rust. the curtain also would not close completely, i couldn't believe it.
